Just got the email from Apple to say the update to my Livecode app 'Tracker2Go'
has been approved.
I wouldn't normally post this, but I thought I would as its the first I've
seen where the original '1.0' app was just for iPhone, and the '1.1' version
is for iPhone and iPad.
Beyond the change
I started a port of an iOS app to Android, but it stalled when I hit the lack
of native scrollbar support.
There are a few ways to do it in code, but none were smooth enough on the
devices I have. Once scrollbars are supported Ill be straight onto the
platform!

Hi Hugh,
Is is possible to have an x-axis of dates using chartmaker?
I use chartsengine at the moment, but it would be good to have a choice for
each app. At the moment I can just send a series of data with the x axis data
in 'seconds' and chartsengine converts these to dates, and spaces the

Livecode should have as standard for mobile development!
I hope you manage to keep developing it and make it available as a plugin thats
available / affordable for all users.

If it works as well as Dropbox, and supports Windows as well as Mac it will be
great.
Never got to grips with externals, is there a guide somewhere as to how to get
started.

Im not sure if the iOS store is the same, but what happens on the Mac App
Store is after an update is released any reviews for the old version get pushed
back to a second tab and a note says something like 'there are no reviews yet
for this version'. You can still click on the tab to show the
Thanks everyone.
I understand what you mean about the free / paid issue, its really a guessing
game with quite a lot of luck involved imo.
Ive read normally for a standalone it seems best to push an app out free for
the first 24 hours, if you get sufficient downloads it pushes you into the
I have just had my first Livecode iPhone app using externals (sqllite) approved
for the App Store.
The App is 'Tracker2Go' (

wants a look, it uses the sqlite databases, datagrid, internet search,

Yes, you can do it with on-rev instead of php, its pretty simple stuff.
We have systems set up with Kagi, Plimus and Paypal. All do the same thing,
which is on completion of the order they post the order info to a url you
choose, it can be a php or irev file, it doesnt matter.
You then
