diagnosing android crash at launch

i have an app thad works fine on ios. i just built it for android to test it out. at launch i get a black screen, and then the app crashes. do we have any tricks for diagnosing this behavior? -- On the first day, God created the heavens and the Earth On the second day, God created the oceans. On
