This is close to what my original app would do and it was turned down by Apple
(way back when). However, the app was not crippled. I offered a fair amount
of free content and so it worked fine for those eBooks. The free eBooks did
not have a "registration" or verification process. It was a fr
OK – looks like there is some interaction with other components on the card
going on (iOS scrollers maybe?) that is stopping it displaying as a new browser
object on a card without any scrollers seems to work just fine. I’ll poke
around some more I guess.

Hi - is there some magic for getting the browser widget to work on iOS?
Most of the time it displays nothing in either the simulator or on an actual
device (the URL is definitely set) and when it does (not sure what gets the
display to work in these situations), it doesn’t scroll and none of the

I´ve changed line 1486 to
command qrCreate pImg, pData, pECC, pSize, pMask, pMinVersion, pMaxVersion
and changed the line 1525 from
repeat with tVersion = 1 to 40
to
if pMinVersion is empty then put 1 into pMinVersion
if pMaxVersion is empty then put 40 into pMaxV
Hi Matthias
This looks like a relatively easy patch to make. Probably adding min version
and max version optional parameters which default to 1 and 40 then using those
in the loop to find the min version at line 1525 of the script. Then you just
use 14,14 for the parameters.

Hi all.
Since a lot of people felt pretty much the same way about the property
inspector I thought I would have a go at it. I got so far as determining that
the main control in the propery inspector pallet is a widget! Ok, if I can get
into the widget I might be able to see what it does, and m
Hi.
My app needs to create qr codes. This is not a problem so far, as Splash21´s
qrCode library is now included in Livecode.
My problem is that i need to create qr Codes with exact version 14, which has a
matrix size of 73 x 73. The customer needs exact that kind of code. The codes

Hi all.
I just posted Bug 21427 - Cannot nest datagrid behavior on the QCC. It's a very
simple stack demonstrating the problem. Maybe I do not understand what nested
behaviors are, but if I do then so far as I can see they do not work with
datagrid behaviors.

HDMI itself has DRM, and I can imagine there are cables that work for non-DRM

out how to do something that should be rather more intuitive.

Thank you, Sean and J. Landman Gay.
I have not kept up with Apple's policy's since I closed the business. Using
both Sean and J. Landman Gay's info, I think that I can make it work! I am
excited and relieved.
All of the eBooks would not be interactive other than using HTML, JavaScript

It is much more simple... it is up to the app author. If they don’t want you to
display on an external screen they disable the ability.
I have my internet through the cable company. They have an app that shows live
local stations. They don’t allow it to be shown on a big screen unless you

Those of us who use iOS devices to watch video sometimes want to see stuff on a

Absolutely, and it's actually training people to learn and use
inefficient actions. Conceptually and with muscle memory!
Similar to Kee’s example is that of Amazon Prime Video while still respecting
the example given of the likes of Valve and Sony PlayStation streamers.
With Prime Video, users cannot purchase either a subscription or any content
