EditBackground Message?

Hi Kevin, I needed to install LiveCode and went to your server to find the latest version. This happened to be 6.5.2. Are you saying that I may have installed something that I shouldn't have? Perhaps you could keep those versions in a separate directory until they are safe to install? -- Best

I am fond of saying I am no DG expert, even though I use them a lot. I do not think so. I know you can: set the dgProp["alternate row colors"] of grp "yourDG" to "true" Which will lose the effect entirely, but I do not know if you can then manually set the hilite color of each row on the fly

Alternating Row Colors of a Data Grid

When you select “alternating row colours” of a Data Grid and you scroll the Data Grid the colours of the rows alternate as it scrolls. Does anyone know how to have the alternate row colours but for these colours to remain fixed as the Data Grid Scrolls? All the best Terry _

'Hopping' in the IDE?

I'm seeing something a bit strange while tracing the running of scripts in the IDE (I'm using LC 6.5.1 on a Mac with Mavericks). What I find is that as I watch the activation step through statements, there are lines that invoke other handlers, and as is normal, if I don't choose the 'step over'
