If I understand your problem correctly, try setting the rects of the native
controls (including the multiline one) instead of hiding and showing them. That
way it will appear that they have all moved up the screen so the multiline one
shows above the keyboard.

After inserting a new column into a postgres table, I'm unable to find

I came up with an alternate solution just before you pointed me to the
forum.
I fixed it by putting a button with no text and opaque off in the group. It
seems only the first control is affected. I set the do-nothing button's rect
to the rect of the group before adding my dynamic f
