What issues are you seeing? I have never seen quotes upset a scrolling
field, and I use them a lot. Is there something in the way you load the field
that might be the problem? Perhaps some delimiting or parsing gadget is seeing
quotes as a special character?

I see. I was cavalier in using the term "substack", which is a defined LC
term. Adding a stack file to a stack in the "Standalone Application
Settings" stack does not a substack make.
