a possible workaround is to use a large Virtual screen size in
xorg.conf.

gnome-screensaver has a the ability to set computer's idle time upto
2hrs, whereas gnome-power-manager sets display's sleep time upto 1hr.
Would it not be preferable to have this extended to 2hr 1min ?
