with the categories of help you're interested in viewing (a la
customisable Google News) would be nice.
And then a tickbox for 'Use the 'Help' icon on the

At the end of the day I think it should probably come down to
prototyping a few different approaches and testing them on users.
Anyone have a copy of Flash?

within the scope of this discussion, making synchronisation
easy would be a cool/useful feature for GNOME. A lot of people would
use it if implemented well.
I can see stages 1) and 2) being implemented ready for G2.14 and a
'GNOME Sync Manager' being an option for G2.14/6. After all, i
possible to do many things without a
graphical interface. Of course some things will always need a graphical
UI, but for accessibility reasons it's always nice to have the keyboard
there as a backup.

the right format themselves without having to call for help.
There are very few format choosers out there that I would consider to be
easy to use. Just take a look at the GIMP's - there are almost 40
options! Hands up who's ever saved a 'C Sou
not just add the
first six items to the drop-down then have a 'More locations...' item at
the bottom. By selecting this you can pop up a full list.

he right. Hitting the close button kills the app, for example if you
opened it by mistake. This dialog shouldn't appear unless the app will
take more than 2-3 seconds to open.
