You're using nautilus-media's thumbnailer, not totem's which has the
super-duper "film-holes" that everybody loves.

The keyboard shortcut preferences are not for changing application-
specific shortcuts. This culd probably be made into a stock menu item,
like the Copy/Cut/Paste though.

It's called spring folders and is patented by Apple. Read the archives
on lists.gnome.org, it has some insight as to why we can't add this
feature to nautilus.

It's still used for gnome-cd. Until we have a replacement CD player
integrated in the Desktop (right now we still have Sound-juicer, which
has that functionality more for double-checking that you're ripping the

Hello, and happy new year to all,
Totem has the ability to load text subtitles automatically, currently
loading the text subtitle file with a known suffix, and with the same
name as the movie (ie. test.avi would try to load test.srt, or test.sub
as subtitles).
People have requested being able to

Agreed.
And the musicbrainz process isn't that hard. I uploaded information for
at least a dozen of CDs, and even though it gets a bit getting used to,
the referencing and the responsibilities onto the submitte
is allow to add disc IDs to an existing release
(ie. a disc already present with a different ID on Musicbrainz) without
going through the interface.
I filed http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436913 about it.
That would take care of most cases for end-users, although
rare/incredibly new discs
im is to identify
yourself (ie. your accounts) in Evolution-data-server. It can be used by
Galago to say who you are for example.
It's also used to set your "face" in the GDM face browser, your name in
the system passwd database, and it could be used by Epiphany to
auto-complete forms,
one of them as 'me', which
> opens up a few more options.)
In MacOS X, some bits are in the address book, some others are in the
users capplet, where one can change their own password, as well.
