I think it would be nice if we could middle click on the apps to let
them load in the background. Many times I like to open a collection of
software when I work. For example, Scribes Text Editor, Agave color

Actually, a middle click on a icon opens the application in a new
workspace and put it foreground. To let an app loading in the
background, you could drag the icon of the app in the workspace you are
in or in another workspace displayed on the workspace list on the right

I would have to say I was shocked to see it working for you. But after a
reboot of my computer it seems to be working now. No need to make two ways
to do the same that. That is middle click or the VERY show drag to the
desktop. If it shows up again I will report a bug.

I was thinking, it's a bit of movement to go from the top left to the far
right to move between workspaces. Wouldn't it be handy to move between
workspaces by scrolling the mouse? Currently scrolling over the workspaces
does this effect.
