Very much need and I prefer that too.
but there might be people who would differ.
may be we should make this feature default and give an option in the
options/settings to change this if the user doesn't like it.

and... "that" means what here? Having vague "/me too"s doesn't really
help in improving the usability of this bug fix...

sorry for being vague.
that = unread emails in closed tree subfolders should make parent folder
name italic
let the user define how the folder's should appear
(color,bold,italic,shoe unread count, incluuding subfolders, always or as
tooltip on mouseover, etc)
