dmraid simply maps whatever raid info is stored in NVraid without respect to
the bios setting for NVraid to be enabled/disabled.
SEVERITY:
The issue can prevent start-up.

I just started it up, and was lucky to get output where it begins to
start and then falls back immediately to the desktop. Sometimes when
this happens it leaves the desktop in the wrong resolution too. Here is

Eclipse on Karmic is unusable because buttons rarely respond to button
events. Clicking on a button shows the button depressing but nothing
happens. The only work around is to click the button so that it gets
focus and then to hit the enter key which does actually register. T

Ubuntu jaunty install a few days after posting the ticket.
Since then, i've left Apparmor at it's barest install defaults and don't

Good news. I replaced my older Belkin Omni Cube 4-Port (PS-2) model
F1D094 with a brand new IOGEAR 2 port (USB) model GCS632U and I no
longer have the issue above. Ubuntu 9.04 now can see the LCD panel and
allows compiz to run. The 9.10 Beta Live Disc I referenced above also
works without any issue
I can reproduce the issue and the proposed fix only fixes set root +
search by UUID parts, not pathnames.

I had 9.04 installed on an NCR 7402 POS device w/microtouch touch screen
that exhibits the same problem. When I boot Ubuntu 9.10, kernel
2.6.31-14-generic it does the same thing as described above.

At system boot if i see the message "time out waiting for DSP ready"
mythtv can't look channels. After 30 minutes or so, i can wath tv
normally. If message "time out waiting for DSP ready" don't appears at
boot time mythtv works correctly.

It looks like what I originally posed was the way to manually hard-code
the language fields in the .glade file. Attached is an updated diff
file to be used if you want to build from source. This uses the glade
"stock_items", which seem to have been removed as part of the patch when
submitted earl

When closing the lid and reopening it, the screen remains black and the
