Gaming is a key area for every desktop OS. Ubuntu has the advantage of
being late to the party and can therefore learn what to do better and
what the others got right.
Some suggestions:
· Disable all desktop shortcuts (maybe except STRG+ALT+arrow)

You are talking about a switch or something for "Gaming mode"? Or those
settings to be default?

Jep. Ubuntu "should" have a gaming mode activated when starting a game
fullscreen.
