1) Performance improvements
2) Reduction in the delta between design and implementation
3) Spread
4) Modal Dialogs
5) Some improvments to light themes. New themes?

Last I read, the plan was to have the option of using global menu OR LIM.
Global would stay the default but user can choose whether to use LIM
instead or "traditional" menus.

pointless , and I still think it is . Except maybe for unmaximized
windows , because that ,I think , is a problem now . But removing the
