Works for me (and this is not a user support channel, but a package
bugreport one).
Basically, you have to select the entire note, not just the noteheads
(round things). Shift-click is the devise. I’m attaching a screencast of
how it works.

Public bug reported:
When writing its output file, ufraw segfaults. This happens both for
jpg and png (and then I stopped testing different file formats). Most
of the time the file appears to be complete. Sometimes it is signaled
as corrupt by a file viewer.
I'm not sure how to usefully debug
