Hi Brian,
thanks for the update. I used Software Boutique to add 'proposed'
source. Running "sudo apt-get install shotwell" pulled the new version,
along with shotwell-common.
Shotwell now correctly logs into flikr and is able to upload photos and
videos.

Choosing "publish" and then Flickr requires me to log into my Flickr
account. All seems to go well until the final click, where I am given a
"authorisation failed" message.
Looking at gitlab.gnome suggests this is a known bug which was fixed in 0.30,
but Gnome don't support

When using the Settings Manager window, I am unable to shrink the window
horizontally (compress to the left) once I have expanded it and icons
have joined the top row. Now they're all stuck on a single row and will
not allow the window to shrink. Vertical shrinking seems unaff
