not sure if i should report this, since i can't reproduce reliably.
Screen is frozen on last frame of video, or video fails to play.
Switching to linux console and back to X11 seems to unfreeze the display.

using mplayer to play videos with gl2 overlays. As you can see from the
screen shot, if I am multitasking, other windows get corrupted. It will
take hours or days to reproduce this, since it occurs with less
frequency.
basically, play some videos, look for corruption, take
the top window has some kind of color distortion

in 12.10 i notice screen corruption when using several applications: xaos and
gpicview
with older fglrx drivers this problem does not exist.
looks like a hardware draw from a buffer is reading from bad locations
in memory.

Tested after Updated my pc and the fglrx-installer did install a new driver
(apparently) of course I'm not 100% sure.

the video card, so I get a black screen and nothing else.
to reproduce this issue, install catalyst drivers, type alt+print
screen +k (all 3)
