Same issue on my laptop. And it's of the kind which does harm to one's

well, the error msg given by Xorg.0.log is something like "cannot initialize
nvidia_drv.so" and "no screen found".
My doubt is this is a problem that the driver couldn't recognized the screen
module or nvidia_drv.so does not work, or both?
I googled a lot on this issue, and I hardly see any usef
