I've got a problem with my xbox 360 wireless pad, my ubuntu 11.04
recognize it, but when I plug in my cursor goes to the upper left of my
desktop and i can't use it before i unplug the xbox 360 receptor.

The runtime OpenCL package ocl-icd-libopencl1 does not create a libOpenCL.so
symlink. Consequently, when I deploy my OpenCL application on a client system,

I edited /etc/network/interfaces to add a bridge for an interface that was
already in /etc/network/interfaces (not managed by network-manager).
After running service networking restart I had a grey screen with a black
square in the middle.
Radeon 6850 here, Ubuntu 11.10 and before worked flawlessly with the
opensource driver, now straight after install my desktop freezes and (
through ssh ) i encounter in /var/log/syslog:

Same effect here when using chrome, mostly with videos.
Its an upgrade to 12.10 of a recent 12.04 install nvidia vidcard.
I haven't enabled the nvidia drivers yet, running the default nouveau after the
upgrade, i'll try purging whatever is left of nvidia pakages and report back.

After some more searching I've located what caused my problem. I had burg
installed (graphical boot) and it did not get updated so it just booted the 3.2
kernel instead of the 3.5 one installed by ubuntu 12.10.
Ofcourse this triggers a lot of problems :) Now that I booted the 3.5 kernel no
more
I ran this update on my Intel Haswell i7-4700MQ laptop. Tested it with a
normal desktop session and didn't encounter any graphics related issues.

Tried with 8.660-0ubuntu1, still a black screen. I have tried with
radeonhd and radeon, but they all freeze. I'm starting to think that
this is not really an issue specific to the fglrx driver, but something
in X or mesa itself. Something to do with DRI or 3D? Loading the VESA

Acer Aspire One: no xrandr
This bug seems to be back in Lucid Beta 1 on my Acer One 150.
With a stock boot my dmesg reports:

Hi,
The exact same thing happens to me on a clean beta Natty with only
Vmware Player (version 3.1.4 build-385536) installed on top of that. It
is not persistent and I have not yet figured out what triggers it.
As told above, running 'setxkbmap' gets all the keys working again.

I'm having the same problem, using a specific tool in paraview 3.8.1
software. I'm using 10.10 with 2.6.35-24-generic with the latest i915
driver.
The problem occurs when using the slice tool in paraview and dragging
the slice plane. Error 100% reproducible also with older Ubuntu
releases/drivers
I removed my fix from above to see if this had been fixed for me in
subsequent updates and it has not. Here is my output with fixes removed:

for me the issue happens when I enter the client screen using Synergy. When the
