Scrolling should now work in any vte-based terminal, starting from Ubuntu 15.10.
Unfortunately, I was unable to convince the maintainers to apply the patch in
12.04 and 14.04.

report for it.

Took me a while to figure out how to launch stjerm, but in the end I've
managed to do it and can confirm the issue is fixed for it as well (in
Ubuntu 15.10).
