quirk-db-handler and remove "add_parameters --quirk-no-chvt" in the
using_nvidia block. Well I did that, and sorry, I see no difference at
all.

I get the impression that KDE is more severely affected by this bug than
Gnome: KDE is barely usable after resume, with large portions of the
display more or less permanently blanked out, whereas Gnome can be made
to repaint more of the screen.

restart of X (ALT-sysreq+k) and entering Gnome, I can still see some

I installed Lucid Lynx to another partition on the same machine. I can
