OK I've updated my bios: $ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date 0708 12/25/2012 I used to get crashes just by semi-vigorous scrolling in the Spotify window but a session of clicking and scrolling so far hasn't reproduced the crash. I'll keep trying for a while.

According to comments on the gnome bugzilla this is supposed to be (at least partly?) addressed in Gnome 3.8. has anyone tested this? Ever since I upgraded from Ubuntu 12.04, this has been driving me nuts since I do 90% of my work in xterms and with Emacs. -- You received this bug notification
