I experienced this bug in Natty, but the situation changed in Oneiric. The
desktop now shows corruption after a suspend/resume cycle : the Unity Launcher
and Panel are not pixelated, but the desktop is.
If I open a new window, the window seems to appear behind the pixelated layer.

I encountered this bug for the first time with a X update from xorg-edgers ppa
for oneiric, last december iirc.
It seems to be present in the xorg-edgers X stack, and in the default 12.04 X
stack too.
There are other input bugs that may be linked to this one, like "never
revealing Unity launcher
This a test program by Henri Verbeet.

"It prints the mouse coordinates to the terminal,

Here is a video showing mouse par int the first part (that places my cursor to
an arbitrary position, then does nothing, no warp).
In the second part, I start clipping, but the clipping zone does not fit in the
