After upgrading to karmic my radeon graphic driver works fine. When I install
fglrx it stops working - the screen turns black and I cannot even switch to a
terminal anymore (seems like a problem with kbm).
Not only does fglrx not work - when it's installed radeon and radeonh

When I attemt to play games on my machine the screen displays vertical lines
and then wents black. I don't hear sound or anything.
This happens with wine as well as native games (e.g. OpenArena).

properly compiled. Subsequently Xorg complains in it's log about the
driver not being present but does not start at all (not even in the low
