It will conflict with mdetect package that our xserver-xorg-input-vmmouse
depends on so upgrade won't be possible.
I've marked on MoM that I'm working on this merge (It's merge because our
vmmouse_detect has a patch that isn't applied in Debian) and I've just started
filling bugs.. sigh..

I can confirm that there are artefacts after resume. The ones I'm seeing
are different though (attached screenshot). The rest if the same -
random characters in console, having to ctrl+alt+f7 to get to the X
session. It may be related to hal->udev migration?
