It will conflict with mdetect package that our xserver-xorg-input-vmmouse depends on so upgrade won't be possible. I've marked on MoM that I'm working on this merge (It's merge because our vmmouse_detect has a patch that isn't applied in Debian) and I've just started filling bugs.. sigh.. I'm at
