just another bit of info...even though the previous comments really
cover the problem pretty well...i have same problem and i don't think it
hardware related...i installed ubuntu 12.04.1 about one month ago and
find it can freeze up at random times and it happens both when you are
using the system
So two claims here and in the Natty "Known Issues" list that 2 button
mice are "quite rare" or "not very common". Yet the point made by an
earlier poster is ignored - nearly all laptops (except Macs) have only
two buttons. I understand that most developers may use a desktop machine
or a mouse conne

computer, another way isn't possible. Next I removed package
xserver-xorg-video-intel” 2:2.9.1-3ubuntu5 and display working correctly.

Looking to pick up support for the Intel GMA 3150 video chip set which
is prevalent in most newer Atom-based netbooks. Maverick currently
contains 2.09, and support for GMA 3150 starts with 2.10.
