when i boot in karmic, my acer aspire 5738 monitor stay black after
grub, but it stay on (or power up). if i try to atach a second monitor,
actualy work, but the laptop monitor don't work... this is fix when i
use the i915.modese
ok here there are the lspci -nnvv the dmesg and the Xorg.0.log...
now i'm using jaunty (because i can't use karmic with this bug). so to
get this, i boot into a live cd of karmic RC. i have to attach a second
monitor because the laptop main monitor is black even if i boot to s
shell.
