This happend to me too until I updated to 3.3.7. I'm using Intel HD4000
on a i7 3770K and since #993187 is closed I think this one should remain
open until fixed.

I have been running 3.3.7 for 3 days now with no freezes and I've been
watching plenty of flash movies which seems to be a good way to trigger
the freeze so it's looking pretty good for 3.3.7. I will post here again
if I experience any freezes with it.

3.3.7 froze for me now so I guess it doesn't fix it 100% but it's way
more stable at least. I have updated to 3.4.2 now and see if I can get
that one to freeze.
If this isn't fixed soon I guess I'll have to buy a graphics card.

Timo: It's great to hear that 3.4 should be stable and that you are
working hard on getting the fixes backported.
I always buy new hardware too early, I had freezes with sandy bridge and
the one before sandy too in the ubuntu versions that was current at the
time. :P

It seems that turning off BO reuse just slows it's down but it still
grows a lot.

This have happened to me a lot recently, I'm gonna try the workarounds
next time it happens and see if any of them work. I'm running 10.04 and
I've got an intel chip btw.
