This seems mostly OK for me on both of my machines (one Intel 945GM, and
the other is Radeon HD4350 with open drivers).
On the Intel one, there is a small band of pixel droppings around the left and
bottom of the window that is a bit odd; but the contents are fine.

I've changed this title to just seeing it on gnome-screensaver-
preferences - it's not just the skyrocket screensaver, and also the
skyrocket screensaver actually works full screen in the screensaver.

#626943 and see if the mesa packages from the ppa help; it's a smaller
change than the whole of xorg-edgers; I'd be greatful to know if they

My understanding is the Intel 945 chips have a 2048 horizontal maximum pixel
limit; it can push 4096 pixels with a load of things disabled, but that's
probably not a good idea; so 2048 is the maximum practical.

It seems odd, the specs of your machine on the web show it as 1280x800.
so I'm not sure why it's claiming to be able to do 1360x768.

1) I don't seem to be able to get this to trigger with Gnome with desktop
effects (even with those pesky wobbly windows)
2) The chromium-browser in the standard Maverick repo doesn't trigger it
either; hence i guess it's not using any GL stuff.
