IIRC this happens in something to do with OpenGL but I don't know how to
find the whole stacktrace, is it logged somewhere? Let me know what I
can do to provide more information to debug this.
I have an ATI HD 6950 with latest proprietary drivers installed.

Ok I downloaded and installed the appropriate driver from AMD:

I've since discovered that this is not the recommended way to do
As promised, the jockey log including the failed install. Should be the
first (and second last) install in the log. Second install of non-update
driver was successful.
