Any time when I try to launch google chrome, the browser crashes and
stops the process. Deinstallation of google chrome and a new
installation does not change the failure. There is no similar problem
with mozilla firefox.

I have tested with disabled compositing-KDE-effects, and the problem is gone =>
no memory leak.
With KDE-effects the problem persists.
I will test this with a clean installation and will post the result.
