So much about LTS. Can anyone confirm this will ever be fixed or should
we just abandon Linux since this is total showstopper in my company and

I would suggest going through the TLP configuration option and turning
each one on individually to see which causes the slowdown (if it is

I can use it like a normal trackpad and use two finger scrolling, but if
I try and use any of the gestures that require more then two fimgers, it
stops responding entirely. In order to get it to respond again I have to

After about 20 minutes of using chrome with several tabs open, my system
freezes. My mouse cursor still works, but that is all. I have to do a
hard shut-down and start my computer up again. This started right after
I ran and update/upgrade in the terminal.

Last crash was with only 1 tab of chrome running :-/ This seems to be a
similar problem to what I experienced during early May with a previous
update to xorg. I have reduced my resolution to see if this will help me

i915.ko is the kernel driver used for all Intel GPUs. i965_dri.so is
the OpenGL driver used for all of the GPUs mentioned in this bug report
(I see Ironlake and Ivy Bridge).
I also only see one Mesa version mentioned (9.0.1), and it's quite old.
Is anyone able to reproduce this on either 9.1.4 or
I've also been able to recreate this issue while running cairo-dock on a
Clevo P150EM (Intel HD4000).
I see the status is NEEDINFO. I've worked around the issue for myself
by just using the cairo back end, but is there any info/testing I can
provide to help resolve the issue when using OpenGL?
