12.04). A workaround is to disable the hardware cursor

But then, the cursor flickers and disappears when scrolling with the

I try to launch skype but it crashes before it opens.
This only happens when skype is used with the Nvidia drivers/repo's.

Regarding Ubuntu 13.04: I just noticed that I am NOT restricted to a
resolution of 1024x768 when using a kernel from an earlier daily build.
Rather, mirroring works properly again in Ubuntu 13.04 with the Linux
3.8.0-7-generic kernel.
