No, I didn't do any related action or such, just found the dialog box on
the screen once.
I mean, the touch interface still hangs at times, but if that's related
to this bug I don't know.

Just wondering ...
I forced the version of the libgl library to 8.0.4 using syaptic package
manager to get over this problem.
Er how do you unforce the versions so they will update as normal?

Wow, I had pretty much forgotten about this. Using the same hardware, but
I've upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04. I haven't noticed it happening, not that I
can remember, anyway. So, I guess it's fixed? I don't understand if a
particular cause was ever identified.

I too am experiencing this issue. I'm running catalyst 13.1 on Kubuntu

the issue, leading me to believe that it does in fact have to do with
xset handling display sleep.

I can confirm that this bug also affects me (Ubuntu 12.04 with unity,
cairo-dock 3.1.99.rc1 with openGL)
The artefacts are present when scrolling with numerous application

If I kill cairo-dock, the artifacts disapperars completely. If I re-
enable cairo-dock, the
