The quickest, least permanent, method is to pause booting and add the
parameters from the grub boot screen. That first depends upon having a
grub prompt
So edit /etc/default/grub and append drm.debug=6 to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
and run update-grub, then reboot.
Once booted open a terminal
I can always (almost always ?) trigger the bug with the following procedure:
1) copy some directory from one drive to another (must be big enough to have
nautilus copy window show)
2) the cancel button (a red button on the right side) has a black square on its
upper right corner
