You have been subscribed to a public bug:
After installing my desktop is shifted to the left and up (can't see
that part of the screen). That seems to indicate the wrong resolution
or frequency to me. I'm using DVI output and a DVI to HDMI cable
(monitor was sold as a monitor, not TV). 1920x120
I think I experience this and
synclient TouchpadOff=0
fixes this for me.
I am not sure whether it was mentioned but trackpad and a external
bluetooth mouse work fine after the touchpad freezes. Does it work for
other the same. I.e. touchpad freezes and mouse/trackpad continous to
work?

You
Done... I typed apport-collect 772116
I don't know why it posted so many comments instead of just one...
Meanwhile, I just found this bug which may be related to the same
problem :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/+bug/601950
(But it's not the same keyboard)

You received this
Problem appears using Nvidia's driver, but not with NOUVEAU. Targeting
that package for now. Also appears in "post-release updates" version
aka nvidia-current-updates.
** Package changed: ubuntu => nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu)
