After installation of 173 nVidia driver, desktop is frozen but mouse is movable.
What do you suggest?
ps it happens under almost every single distribution of Ubuntu but with
Mandriva 2009 and the latest version EVERYTHING works perfectly out of
the box! How

The example is from Eclipse, it shows that I really can't use eclipse.
The same happens in other apps, in the menu bar (icons appear when I
hover the mouse over them, background remains invisible), and in the
desktop background. Very annoying.

xorg failed to be configured for intel integrated graphics card

1. I upgrade from 10.04 through to 11.04
2. after upgrading, xserver failed to start
3. restart into single rescue mode and try "Xorg -configure", but it fails
4. now I have to use generic video card driver for my x200 laptop, and I can't
use unity at all.
