GIMP does not work when the t
just did an install with an asus v7100pro and i had to use the no acpi
option just to be able to install it and now all i get is a big pink
screen. As my tv is my only monitor at the moment so i have to use
svideo and this card is nvidia i cannot upgrade. Also natty live cd
will not work on main
just thought pressing esc and using no acpi gets the live cd working.
other people should test this but do not install i haven't gotten the
installed version working yet.

When I close the lid on my thinkpad t420s and reopen it, I can't use X.
I can still move the mouse about but everything behind it remains
static. If I leave it long enough to go into a screensaver then I just
see the contents o
I have same issue but I am not running nvidia.
This happens with both transmission-gtk and -qt.
Two things are actually happening, but not simultaneous:
1. Transmission freezes after a few minutes or Immediately after
changing a preference. Any changes made to preferences revert after
reboot.
2
Also when transmission freezes, killall cannot stop process. process is
locked in "do_exit". Only reboot works.
