The error is for bag configuration of contrast, when i reduced the contrast

I agree with your #1. My delete-key got stuck when deleting an e-mail in

need to restart X server to stop it. And some see the bug using USB
keyboard too, but for me only with the integrated keyboard. And for some
the problem is a regression. Which makes me beleve our problem is caused
by the AT keyboa

Since the hardware is no longer available for doing troubleshooting
with, we'll have to close the bug for now. However please feel free to
reopen if you or anyone else has the same HW and can reproduce this
issue using the latest development version of Ubuntu and is willing to
do some troubleshoot
I can confirm this issue - I had the 11.3 drivers in maverick, then
upgraded to natty - so I have to go to the failsafe graphic mode, then I
tried to install new fglrx via jockey, ended with an error. So I
realised fglrx couldn't be installed. Downloading and installing by .sh
from ati website help
The kernel patch is working quite well, so now back to Ubuntu: how do we
get the patch integrated into the Ubuntu patched kernels for all
supported versions so that the masses can benefit from it?

Hi Bugbot. This error is aparently fixed in natty (11.04 with Kernel
2.6.38-8-generic). No more issues at this time.
