the same bug. The number pad is not working and some key mappings are
incorrect (hash, pound sign).

I was getting this like crazy with 2.6.35-28 and 2.6.35-26, about every
hour, nvidia 270.*
I switched back to 2.6.35-24 and nvidia 260.* and it stopped. I'm going
to try going back to nvidia 270.* when I get a chance, but this seemed
to fix it for me.

xserver, because it happens during the boot time, before loading
modules.
After a long research with kernel list I discovered that this bug comes
from a conflict between video acpi and HP envy Bios model when setting

from ppa:xorg-edgers and let us know if that resolves it; potentially we
may be able to backport a fix, but with so little time remaining in the
release it may need to be SRU'd post-release. (mesa patches can be a

I'm going to bump this back from libdrm to -intel; given the libdrm
patch seems to not solve it, there's not a particular reason to think
the bug is in libdrm. If nothing else, the bug report will be easier to
find if it's with the other -intel reports.

Had three GPU errors on first boot up this morning. After installing
this morning's update I rebooted and did not have any problems. Guessing
something patched since yesterday fixed the problem.
