I just updated to KDE 4.6 in Kubuntu 10.10 and see this same problem. It
was also there before I upgraded but now it affects the terminal as well

happen to me when using edit boxes, best description I can give is appears that
a left mouse button up even is lost, so as i move the mouse pointer around text
is selected from the point where the left mouse button event
