Looking at the stack traces, I'm convinced that bug 458989 and its dupes
are not fixed, but duplicates of this bug. 458989 hasn't been closed
with an upload, just with an "I do not get this any more", but since
this bug happens randomy and there is no known reproducer, it's probably
still relevant.
I got RecordMyDesktop to work, so here's a short video showing the
problem. I forgot to include moving or resizing a window in this clip,
but by seeing the how slow the menus are, you can probably imagine how
long it takes to move windows around.

A couple notes:
I ran apport-collect while Compiz was disabled. If you need me to run
it again with Compiz enabled, I gladly will.
I attached a video back in Comment 2 demonstrating the problem. That
might be irrelevant now, but I wanted to point it out since it may have
gotten buried in the no

work and neither did ssh. Logs from booting the same USB on another

I can make sure that features such as ClickButtons and ClickZones work well in
the X driver (this might be a matter of adding an Xinput property or two, I
guess).
Gestures, however, require a multitouch driver. This is a non trivial
task but I *think* upstream is working on it already.
