I use synclient to set my ALPS touchpad to use fake two-finger scrolling
and disable tap-to-click. When I suspend to RAM and resume, two-finger
scrolling does not work, and tap-to-click is enabled. Running synclient

I can also confirm this for the current gnome-terminal from Karmic.
This makes me suspect it is not a bug in either of the two but in a
commonly used library (vte?).
My first hunch was that this may be a problem in vte, even more so after
going through the dependencies of gnome-terminal and xfce4-
FWIW, I can confirm that this is not dependent on scim running. I know
scim is quite buggy, but this time the culprit is elsewhere ;-)

Bryce,
I've tried booting to Karmic Alpha and am able to run a .wma video
(after installing ubuntu-restricted-extras of course) but only when my
two displays are set to "mirrored".
So as soon as I try to "extend" my desktop onto the second monitor by

Mr. Brice Harrington,
please, find attached the last file requested, the /Xorg.conf .
I want to add that all the files send to you by attachments, are files of my PC

I had to install first the Ubuntu 7.10 version and then upgrade since the

This is not a bug with the package, but rather with you NFS setup.
The following page may be of help to solve your error.

Wow - such comprehensive log file info on #36 - I will know how to
do it for next time! :)
Just to confirm on my nx7400 HP machine, the 1360x768 resolution also
works fine and is flicker free, and 1440x900 resolution does exhibit
flicker, just as you have described in the duplicate report.
