After KMS was enabled by default my display setup was lost. With xrandr

really, i just enabled fglrx in jockey.
drm was in use by i915. i did
sudo modprobe -r i915
sudo modprobe -r drm
modprobe fglrx
and restarted X. now moving windows is smooth, and i can enable compiz.

Could you try installing the linux-backports-modules-jaunty package? It
contains an updated compat-wireless stack which may help. I'd be
curious if know if it resolves your low bandwidth/disconnect issues as

I got it working by adding HorizSync and VertRefresh in the "Monitor"
section in my xorg.conf.
You can get the correct values by running "sudo ddcprobe" after

I checked again, problem disappears after replacing only one file
/usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so to i915_dri.so from package
libgl1-mesa-dri_
