I can reproduce the same choppy audio as others, however in a different way. Bug occurs whenever I try to balance my audio output via audio settings found in gnome-control-center. I can confirm that it also affects ATI/Radeon users as well. Playing audio of any kind, whether from Firefox, Banshee or Totem the audio is quite choppy.
