This was fixed by kde-window-manager 4:4.5.1-0ubuntu3 with the change:
* Add kubuntu_29_fallback_to_xrender_compositing.diff
fallback to XRender compositing in case of Software Rasterizer.

I have found the package that has error: mesa-driver
I have downgraded from "7.9~git20100909-0ubuntu1" to "7.8.2-2ubuntu2"
and it works again!
