Actually, xorg does not control what vt it starts up on. And really I don't think there is any real "rule" that X must be running on one particular VT vs. any other. 7 is conventional but I don't think it's required. Anyway, not an X bug. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed =>
