I tested with the lucid alpha, but as it's a limited environment it's hard to spend a prolonged period of time in it. However, that being said, for the time that I did use it my bluetooth mouse stayed connected and was responsive. Recently (few days ago), I decided to completely reinstall Karmic

It's not using -mouse, because input hotplug is enabled which makes it use -evdev (so that part of xorg.conf is skipped). Try on lucid alpha1 livecd if it's any better. Looks like a kernel problem though. ** Package changed: xserver-xorg-input-mouse (Ubuntu) => xserver-xorg- input-evdev (Ubuntu)
