tried now nvidia 396.24, got simmilar problems
I think it does not depend on nvidia drivers. The internal display ist
connected to intel graphics. Switching nvidia gpu off does not change
anything.

As per your logs, you are using nvidia driver version 387.34. However,
as per nvidia.com the latest supported version for your card is 390.59.
