Could you please run the following command once from a terminal by ensuring you
have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for
attaching additional debugging information:
apport-collect -p xorg
Odd, this seems to work on on my Dell Inspiron 15. Tested "Suspend to
Disk" and "Suspend to RAM". Both gernerate the log message indicating an
image was written to disk. Both resume normally with "Suspend to RAM"
being execptedly faster. My machine was also upgraded from 13.10. I
don't know if any
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
